The Crime Writers' Association Champagne Luncheon held on 18 June 2010 to celebrate Val McDermid's CWA Cartier Diamond Dagger Award which honours outstanding achievement in crime writing. The event was attended by crime writers from all over Scotland who converged on the Royal Overseas Club, Edinburgh to congratulate Val.
